I know this because I have been a leader in the employee benefits business for 30+ years and understand the business from multiple perspectives that can change how you think about benefits an employer, and how you get the most value out of relationships with brokers and carrier. 

  • First, for the past 15 years I have evaluated the service models and financial structure of close to 1,000 employee benefits brokers, as an executive at one of the country’s largest employee benefits brokerage firms. 
  • For the  last 5 years have run an employee benefits focused M&A advisory firm, deepening the depth of insight  to exactly how brokers of all sizes work and where opportunity lies for employers to get more value for their money, and their employees’ money. 
  • Rounding out the picture, I was a national sales executive and leader for major insurance carriers.
  • Finally, like you, I make employee benefits purchases. 

I understand that employee benefits is a complicated business—a patchwork of networks, contracts, payments, relationships, and regulations. And it’s impossible for an employer without deep industry expertise to know whether they are truly getting value for their ever-increasing benefits spend.

That’s why I created Rosen Value Advisors.

I wanted to offer employers an alternative. Not a traditional health insurance broker or consultant, but an independent advisor and advocate.
